Planet Fun is an established but rapidly growing business that represents many of the world’s largest toy suppliers in New Zealand. Our office is based in Auckland. We are a young team with billion dollar suppliers, multi-million dollar accounts, and strong culture.
Planet Fun are the #1 toy supplier in NZ. We distribute hugely successful and recognised brands like Pokemon, Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Squishmallows through some of New Zealand’s biggest retailers. We sell brands that retailers and consumers are hungry for!
About the Role:
The purpose of this position is primarily to manage key account business for Planet Fun’s most important retailer customers.
You will be responsible for a select portfolio of well-known toy brands and be involved in regular meetings with global toy suppliers, as well as attending Toy Fairs in Los Angeles and Melbourne. Manage a suite of the largest retailers in NZ within a fun and supportive team. Smash your targets and come and grow with us!
Retail customers are critical to Planet Fun in terms of delivering profit, sales targets, and ongoing growth. Maintaining positive and beneficial relationships with both suppliers and retailers is of utmost importance. This role requires proactive management, tenacity, openness, and professionalism.
You will have proven experience in business development or account management in a business-to-business environment.
It is critical that you can interpret numbers and sales data so previous commercial responsibility would be highly advantageous.
You may come from either a product or a service selling background but the ability to own relationships and influence buyers is key.
